"Microsoft Office PowerPoint"

This course provides the students with the knowledge and skills to become proficient in presentation applications, and to be effective as an end-user in the most ordinary business environments. This course will give the students a complete understanding of the Microsoft Office PowerPoint environment. BCLC will teach imperative information pertaining to PowerPoint by demonstrating how to work with presentations.

BCLC will accomplish this objective through lectures and hands-on training exercises that will familiarize students with PowerPoint’s working environment. Students will open, save, and close an existing PowerPoint presentation, as well as explore various ways they can view slides. They will also create and save three types of presentations: one from scratch, one using the help from a wizard, and one using a design template.

Students will text in a slide, create a new slides, change the slide, change the slide’s layout, insert slides from another presentation, rearrange slides, and enter speaker notes. Students will also create several kinds of text objects. Students will edit text, change its appearance, find and replace words and phrases, and replace fonts. Students will watch PowerPoint correct errors as they type them, check spelling, check presentation styles, and use the Thesaurus to find the word that best suits the students’ needs and much, much, more.
